Make A Friend Day

By gregholdenonline

I’m just on the bus on my way into work and wanted to share something with you. There was this woman on the bus on her own at the start of the journey. This guy got on and next to her was the only seat so he sat down. In the last 30 minutes they’ve struck up a conversation and are now laughing and joking. People watching is cool!

Anyway my point is, this shit doesn’t happen enough… We’re all far too reserved and moody on public transport! I hereby challenge you to make a random friend on a bus, tube or train whatever, just do it! You never know it may even be your long lost brother or something!

Spread the love people, life’s too short to sit on your own in silence!

    I have a bus-friend :D
Every tuesday i take an hour long busride, and everytime i see the same girl.
We started to talk the 2th time we saw each other – and it’s a pretty nice feeling (:
Her name is Sarah, and it’s really nice to have someone to talk to, when sitting in a boring/stinking/old bus.

I talk to random people on the bus all the time haha. On the way to school I started talking to this guy on the train because he had a Velvet Underground tee shirt on and they’re one of my favorites. We’re train buddies now lol. You’re so right Greg, life is too short to be silent and not spread the love :D

P.S. Hope the music video went well! Wish I could’ve been there. Stupid ocean.

    lots of love,
    Isabel

You’re so right! Everyone needs to get out there and get talking from time to time. Life’s so much more fun and interesting if you do it with other people.
Good luck with your recording/ songwriting
    Brendan
